At the beginning of March, our little family took a trip to Arizona. We visited with my husband's aunt & uncle for a few days. Then my California immediate family flew in for a weekend of visiting. They liked having to fly only an hour to visit instead of 5 hours across the country. The break was much needed and of course, the Arizona weather never failed to provide a sunny day. In a Murphy's Law turn of events, a tornado came through our home state while we were gone. Thankfully, the storm missed our city. It was a bit surreal to call our next door neighbors and ask if we still had a house.

Margarita.ville. Mmmm, I had a delicious Margarita. Don't worry, KB had milk.
KB's first experience with an in-ground splash fountain. It took all my strength to keep her from running into the water!
And of course, March 17th always brings lots of opportunities to dance a jig. KB came with me to a performance at a retirement home. She unknowingly became the star of the show. :)
Our city's annual Irish festival had record attendance, thanks to record warm temperatures. My hubby was a great sport, non only in wearing green, but in keeping KB from running in the mud. She smiled and waved at me while I was dancing. Melted my heart! :)
I couldn't resist buying this Irish bow for her collection.
I'm hoping things will slow down now. As a native Californian, I absolutely LOVE the abnormally warm weather that has come to my area. The flip-flops have come out earlier than in years' past. Best of all, it's nice not to have to bundle up a toddler just to get out the door. Probably a year from now Mother Nature will have payback, and I'll read these sentences while shaking my fist.
In a belated tribute to St. Patrick's Day, and the fact that the Muppe.ts movie comes out on DVD today, enjoy this video and raise a glass!
